Track Torque are heavily involved in the preparation and running of Historic race cars, and are currently mid way through a project to convert an E-Type FHC into a Low Drag Coupe for one of our customers.

The project involves stripping the car back to bare metal followed by extensive modification of inner panels in preparation to receive the beautifully contoured aluminium outer skin of the Low Drag Coupe.

The Bulkhead was badly twisted so the car was stripped right back to sills, floor and rear bulkhead

Use of a quality body jig and clamps are essential to make sure that everything is in exactly the right place before welding
